The Flagler Museum is a place to learn how and who started building Florida. This museum tells us the histories of the railroads and how they were buildt. Plus the history of the hotels. This is a great place to learn the history of Florida.

when Henry Flagler's railroads and luxury hotels establishedtourism and agriculture
as the mainstays of Florida's economy. Start Here, to discoverthe Gilded Age,
the most fascinating period in American history.
The Museum is open year round. Hours are:
* Sunday - Noon to 5pm
Tuesday - Saturday, 10am to 5pm
and closed Mondays, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.
School tours and group tours are available.
The first floor of the Museum is wheelchair accessible. Large bags, day packs, and strollers are not permitted on the Museum grounds. Handicapped parking is located near the Museum entrance.

Visited on a field trip. The tour guide had a lot of knowledge. She made it very exciting and made us want to come back on our own. We were not allowed to go to the second floor.
PROS: Learned a lot of Florida history
CONS: Restricted areas.
